Depression
_Depression can be experienced as a continuing low mood, feelings of guilt or hopelessness, excessive worry, sleep disturbance and sometimes suicidal thoughts.
It can make life really difficult for the person who has depression and also for their friends and family. However much they want it can almost seem impossible to change. Hypnotherapy can help by reducing any associated anxiety, re-establishing new emotional responses and behaviours, and altering negative thought patterns helping to lift the opressive feeling. Even if clients are already taking antidepressants from their GP hypnotherapy can still be very beneficial.
